Congenital Nystagmus in the Three Brothers of One Family

Abstract

|
|
Congenital nystagmus is a well established clinical entity with strong hereditary characterstics in which the causes of the nystagmus is not known in general the eyes are objectively normal. Electronystagmography is mandatory for the examination of a patient with nystagmus to take accurate record and reasonable analysis. Treatment is very difficult and not available in all patients. Three brothers with congenital nystagmus in one family is reported and a brief review of literature is described.
